This Easter Monday bank holiday, Royal Albert Hall, home to the BBC proms, will open its doors for the maiden edition of PraiseTival. Over 5000 avid worshippers are expected to flock to the iconic concert venue to “Barach,” (Hebrew word which means to kneel in praise and adoration).
Birthed by Lightchild Family’s Ayobami Soetan , PraiseTival seeks to merge sights and sounds from countries across the globe to create a worship experience like none other .
Get ready for an unforgettable evening of heart-stirring worship and high energy praise as Chevelle Franklin takes us to Jamaica with her reggae infused gospel sounds. Renowned for her stellar vocals and captivating stage presence, South African gospel queen Ntokozo Mbambo promises to deliver a rousing performance and undoubtedly leave many in awe. With a repertoire that blends traditional African gospel with contemporary sounds, fans can expect Ghana’s Joe Mettle to bring the house down at PraiseTival with tunes like Boo Noo Nii and Kadosh. Fresh off the heels of his American tour, MOBO award winning UK gospel favourite CalledOut will take to the stage at Royal Albert Hall and wow the crowd with his unique brand of gospel music.
Adding to the excitement of the night, fans can look forward to performances by the Lightchild Family. The collective will showcase their musical artistry and intricate harmonies while simultaneously invoking the presence of God.
