Time to choose the UKCC Song of the Year ahead of Step FWD Awards 2021! The UK’s definitive Christian & Gospel Music Awards

Exciting times indeed as the Judges and the Public have their final vote for the first-ever Step FWD Awards SONG OF THE YEAR, pulling from all the UK Christian Charts No.1 songs between August 2020 and July 2021. What an abundance of talent! What a great community of artists! What an amazing and diverse mix of artistry! With over 3700 tracks published across the UK Christian Charts 7+ years history, it is no secret that AStepFWD has from day one been intentional and committed to supporting the British Christian and Gospel music industry in a significant way. The Step FWD Awards is another highlight in that journey and a major milestone for the United Kingdom.The ‘Dove meets Stellar’ event will be held on 27th November in the beautiful St. Paul’s Hammersmith. These definitive UK Christian and Gospel music awards will honour 40+ years of legacy whilst celebrating the ‘best of British’ talent from the last 12 months. The 12 SONG OF THE YEAR categories are:

Voting is open until midnight Wednesday 20th October 2021, with all 150+ Judges and the public getting the chance to have their final say, in which of the 131 No.1 tracks will get the 12 Song of the Year titles. Other music awards on the night will include Duo/Group, New Artist, Male and Female, Producer and Video of the Year to name a few.A big highlight of the night will be the honouring of many individuals, who across decades have paved the way for the current generation and on whose shoulders the Christian music industry stands. Some Outstanding Contribution recipients shall be announced soon, while Lifetime Achievement and Legacy Awards will be announced on the award night.
