On the 17th of June 2021, award-winning Gospel Reggae artiste Minister Taf dropped his latest EP, Ena Minyma (A Message). The captivating seven-track gospel-reggae project features the talented Fiona Yorke, who delivered some amazing backing vocals on several songs.
The Ena Minyma EP is produced by Jvmmie Jae and mixed and mastered by MOBO-winning producer Victizzle; with visual production (artwork) from DaddioGfx. The music can and should rightfully be described as hardcore, inspirational, motivational, and captivating.
Taf, who is a Jamaican that has survived unspeakable challenges throughout his life, uses this record to reach youths, particularly those from the inner cities who are prone to going down the wrong path and/or falling victim to the devil and his devices.
On top of various dancehall rhythms and afro-beats, the lyricist chants about staying faithful, never giving up, and living his best life.
This release is a testament to Minister Taf’s versatility as a musician and his innate talent. Ena Minyma
offers feel-good instrumentation with a strong message that will have listeners wanting more. Taf states that while writing the track Faithful, he was reminded of how faithful God has been to him, especially during difficult times. This track amongst others is written from personal experience and he believes his audience will be able to relate.
