Motown Gospel [Capitol CMG] multi-talented singer, songwriter and dancer Jonathan Traylor is bringing new energy to the global faith-based music scene with his debut London performance on 16th February at live music venue 229, Great Portland Street. As one of the most talented creatives to emerge in recent years from the US Gospel scene, Jonathan is a world-class performer who fuses Christian, Gospel and Worship influences to produce his wild signature sound and style.
A worship leader in Forest Hill Church, Charlotte, Jonathan makes music that unites people, whether churchgoers or not. He desires to connect people to the Gospel in an accessible way, bringing everyone to the table rather than it being an exclusive party. Jonathan’s music is widely available on all streaming platforms.
In addition to Jonathan Traylor headlining this live concert, UK-based Ghanaian gospel singer and songwriter Niiella will also be performing on the night. Niiella has gained acclaim for her considerable vocal talents winning the VGMA Best Female Vocalist of the Year award in 2022 and as a former BET Sunday Best top ten finalist. UK Christian Charts Song of the Year nominee Ryan Hylton will provide some homegrown UK talent to the line-up, having just released his latest single ‘For Me’ featuring Omojo and Reblah. Ryan is a singer/songwriter who shares his faith through music to encourage his listeners and engage their imagination.
The evening will be hosted by the eponymous Faith Child, MOBO Award-winner and presenter guaranteed to keep the audience laughing between music performances.
