Soul Flame is one of the music arms of the international youth organisation – Youth With A Purpose (YWAP) based in Nigeria. This group was founded by 4 members of YWAP who had a zeal for the gospel and for hip-hop music. From 4 members, Soul Flame has grown to become arguably the largest rap group in Africa with many centers internationally.
Due to Soul Flame’s wide range of rappers across Nigeria and abroad, the group has been able to attain versatility when it comes to its sound.
The Bible in 1 Thessalonians 5:16 gives us a simple but profound instruction; Rejoice Always.
Regardless of the situation that comes our mood should always remain one of constant rejoicing because we know we have the victory in Jesus. This seems like an almost impossible task but we know every God-instruction is accompanied by the Grace to adhere to that instruction.
Happy is a song about good times and bad times and about how our joy is not dependent on our situation. It is a happy song (no pun intended) with a smooth, energetic vibe accompanied by wholesome rap lyrics. Happy is a reminder that joy comes in the morning and the rainy days never last long.
