MOBO-Award winning Gospel group Volney Morgan & New-Ye are hot off the back of a history-defining Gospel Headline slot at Big Church Festival ‘23 with the release of their heartfelt new single ‘Great I Am’
Taking you on a journey through all the emotions from reflective thanks to thunderous praise, ‘Great I Am’ was birthed out of a church worship rehearsal where the writers started marveling at the revelation that God created all these massive things; the sun, the earth, the sky, but at the same time He still took the intimate time to create and breathe into us. In the moments when everything is moving but our lives are upside down, the moments when we disappoint, God is keeping us “over and over”, just like He keeps the earth in rotation or the sun in the sky every day. That’s why the ending feels so powerful in this song, that revelation of how Great He is, both in might but also to us individually.
With a worship set at the HTB Leadership conference at the Royal Albert Hall this year, a first-of-its-kind live performance on Polish National TV and an electric Mainstage performance at Big Church Festival, Volney Morgan and New-Ye are coming in unapologetically and characteristically energetic this year with faith bangers and spirit-filled worship songs in their eagerly anticipated 2023 EP.
