The single is an introspective song that explores the nature of a God that knows the end from the beginning, one who has planned our lives for us and knows what we need and when. ‘Take Over’ is an intentional song that encourages the listener to let God remain in control of our plans, goals and aspirations as we begin the year 2024.
‘The plan was to release this song last summer, however, I can’t think of a better time to release the song than at the start of a new year as it allows the message to speak for itself. I want people to lean into Him more this year, knowing that even though we have our plans, and our visions, God will have His way at the end of the day. We just need to trust that His way is the best for us. If we believe He loves us so much, then we should also believe that His plans for us can only ever end in Joy’ – Uchenna
Uchenna has collaborated with Rehmahz on this track who crafts an energetic, inspiring rap verse on the song. With his unique way of storytelling through lyrics and melody, Rehmahz brings something special to the song that listeners can find happiness, joy and comfort in.
