Laity and I got together on this one, inspired by The 1975 and worked on this track till it was full of life and beats. I wrote this song as the community I’m a part of navigated a devastating loss (one of our main worship leaders lost tragically her daughter at 3 years of age) and my community prayerfully asked God to change the situation. In the end, we were left with more questions than answers but an assurance that he’s able to comfort humanity in its experience.
