This song was inspired by 2 Corinthians chapters 4 and 5. We live in a world that is broken. But in Jesus Christ alone there is hope. For Christians, the trials and tribulations that we face will be considered as nothing in the light of eternal glory where there is “fullness of joy” and “pleasures forevermore”. All have sinned, and Christ alone can forgive. His innocent blood was spilled on the cross in order that those who repent of their sin may be forgiven. He was raised from the dead, and so shall we also be raised. So may we take courage and live by faith for Him who died for us!
