This single is entitled ‘You Are Loved’ and it originated from a conversation I had with God after reading one of Cory Asbury’s devotions from his book ‘Reckless Love’. In this conversation, I had asked God what He truly thought of me and His immediate response was ‘you are loved, my son’. This phrase became the tagline and overall message of the Chorus which is no matter where you are in life or what you have done, you will always be God’s child and He will always love you. Jeremiah 31:3 ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love’ and Exodus 19:5 ‘You’re my treasured possession’.
