The sound and talent of artist from the Gospel community is seldom in doubt, making up many of the session musicians and vocalists that support the UK music industry however there remains a stigma attached to their place as the headline artists in the mainstream industry and how the Church accepts the work of those who operate outside of its 4 walls.
This panel represents some of the most respected pioneers from the Gospel & faith-based backgrounds working in the mainstream music world from the Kingdom & House Gospel Choirs, vocalist extraordinaire Sharlene Hector, musical director Ayce Oreyinde, Hip Hop pioneer Wizdom (GreenJade), O’Neil of A Step Fwd and one of the communities most respected Managers Loretta Andrews, with Audrey Gray who is CEO of the Gospel Music Industry Alliance (GMIA) hosted by Lady T of AffinityXtra.
This panel is at the forefront of defining the perception of Gospel music in the mainstream context in the UK with years of experience and blazing a path for others to follow and learn from.
