The song, “Memory Lane” brings the listener into the dangers of replaying the past. It’s one thing to go through memories, it’s another thing to obsess over them to the point that you never accept the present reality of your life and desire to move forward.
The longer you look back, the longer you delay the blessings that await your journey in life as you proceed with your eyes looking forward.”… Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
