I’ll Rise again is a song about the never-ending, never-failing faithfulness of God to lift us out of the pit of life again and again, no matter what that pit is. It’s a song of hope, to a world that is sick physically and spiritually in this time of pandemic or at any other time to anyone who feels rejected, dejected or depressed in life.
It’s a song of declaration; a prayer; a song of hope and courage, reminding us of the word of the Lord in Deut 31:6 when He told the Israelites to “be strong and of good courage” [for the Lord their God is with them].
