This song was written in the hardest season of my life. It’s about how God is with us through our darkest times. I wrote this about it in a recent social post; “Faith is a process, involving many failures.I’ve been absorbing Peter and his actions in Matthew 14 for months. I relate to his joy in seeing Jesus, and his fear of the winds and waves. I don’t know about you but I’ve nearly drowned in the desperate times we’re living in, and the only prudent response I’ve found is a simple one. “Jesus, save me.”
That’s why I’m so excited to share my new song “Greatest Love” with whoever will listen. It’s about the profound hope only found in Jesus. He is with us every single time. The waves may seem intense, and the winds may feel overwhelming, the end may feel inevitable, but Jesus is the strongest thing in that storm.
He is the greatest love we could ever know.
